Funny I should come across this post today. I watched a programme about male escorts last night, if I am not mistaken, it ran on BBC4 but I don't recall exactly.
Anyway, to cut a long story short...
The few women they did manage to persuade to be interviewed (obscured faces/actors voice over) unanimously agreed that they all felt emotionally draw to them, ie. they were all after a mix of companionship, love and of course sex.
They portrayed the life and successes or lack thereof, of four different gigolos and oddly enough, the one that was only offering sex didn't get a single job in the 3 month he was in London. The others, a guy called John (no idea if that was his real name) he preferred to call himself a personal assistant, offering the 'boyfriend' experience.
In summary, yes, women love sex as much as guys do, yet the vast majority felt more satisfied if the sex came as part of a long term relationship rather then as part of a (huge) package deal.
Get to know a woman, take her out, show her who you are, what you are, give it time to develope. If you are after one-night-stands, I guess that then size may become an issue since small penis sex is something that might take a bit of experimenting and one night might be just that bit to short a time for that.
