I did catch most of it on my wifes Iphone and I did enjoy the river pageant very elegant; although I had to feel sorry for the rowers who had to keep up 4 knots over 15 miles, bet their arms ached.

@TD: LOL, the 'Canal' is the mighty River Thames. I live on its banks and near the Estuary where we live it is close to 8 miles wide. Canal, my word. That did make me laugh.

@tizzicle: I am sure they did. It was cold, it rained most the time but it takes more then a bit of bad weather from discouraging a Brit from venturing forth on such a magnificent occassion. And I am not even a born and bred Brit.

To put it as simple as one can...

God save the Queen.

:)watched the Diamond Jubilee,it was Fab to say the least,loved all the happy smiling people,fireworks,Sir Paul McCartney,Sir Elton John,all the bright colors music and page try,what a show!!
