Go Advanced error?
 

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else was getting this following error:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

....

That appears when I click 'Go Advanced' when I reply to a thread, I was just going to advanced so I could see the smiley list :)

Yep, that's an old one but rather persistent. Always copy whatever you may already have written, at least that way you don't have to retype everything.

There are a few problems with the forum software. Also, should you ever want to upload any pictures, don't worry about the nonsense about file size limitations. The software automatically resizes or simply ignores these limitations anyway.

Another error seems to be the missing "View first unread" link at the top of pages with new posts.

Well, shit happens.

The security token error can sometimes be rectified by logging out, clearing cache and cookies and then logging in and trying again.

I get the missing security token message when I click on 'quick links>mark forums read'.

I close out the site and when I return have no problems. Seems to be a nuisance more than a problem.

These nuisances are actually software bugs.

Perhaps an update would fix some of those.

Talking of which... the "View first unread" issue returned again this morning.
