I actually had many dreams growing up that I could make mine as big or as small as I wanted, almost instantly. I think it's a shame that a lot of guys who have a larger than average penis think that their size automatically makes them good in bed. The girls/women who end up with guys who are well endowed but not well informed end up beliving things about sex and intimacy that are untrue and then they pass that information around. I've heard confessions from many of my friends (and other women) that they were glad their boyfriends/husbands were "big" but that they rarely orgasmed and I could tell by their tone that these guys didn't know what they were doing.
