I don't know about you guys but I don't have much of a bulge unless I'm wearing underwear that's really tight. In pants I don't care but when I'm standing around in the gym getting changed I feel the need to angle away from everyone else or stuff a sock down. I never stand around naked- I take my underwear on and off under my towel.

Anyone else get like this? If not, why is it you don't feel self conscious?

When flaccid I am about 1 1/2" and depending on temperature can go to 1". I think of it as my nub.:eek:

In shower settings with other guys I also turned away from them and put a towel around myself as soon as I could.:mad:

I am self-conscious in locker rooms too! I will quickly change whenever possible. When I go to and from the shower, I will hold my towel unfolded so it covers my cock. I usually will turn away from the entrance to the shower too.

same and i try to use bathroom stalls and not urinals granted theres less splash back from a regular toilet than a urinal so thers one plus

I used to feel a little insecure but I stopped being so self conscious; a lot of the guys changing don't have porn star size dicks anyway...most of them are average to small.

Having a small dick, like I do, is a much better deal if you're small all around, like I am. I'm about 5'5" tall, so my small dick doesn't look too out of place. I never tried to hide my dick when I used to go to the gym. The irony is, I went there mainly to take a shower (had a shallow well & not enough water to shower every day at home). So I had to get over my insecurity in a hurry. Luckily, most gyms aren't like high school gym, where the other guys go out of their way to make fun of small dicks.

I tried going to the gym again after a number of years away. I gave it up. Too much anxeity. Here's a good one; at the SF YMCA I come out of the shower, covered of course. I'm a bit weird. I always catch women/men looking at bulge. my jeans are a bit tight creating what I think a big bulge. As for changing in the gym I never understood that, why not shower at home?

I am about 2 inches soft and have had all the usual locker room scenarios. Once I grew into my size and accepted it, I gladly show it off and let people think what they want.

I joined a new gym about 6 months back, a small family-owned place and quiet in the mornings when I go. I'd got used to having the changing room and showers to myself after a while and not worrying about taking a cold shower. Then, about 2 weeks back Id just started the cold shower when in comes 2 boys about 12-13yo. Neither very well endowed but both bigger than me. Smiles, smirks, embarrassment. Turns out to be the owner's son and a friend on vacation from school. Damn !
