I always like the idea of boxers, but the reality is there's very little support for your balls and I find that the lack of it makes your balls hurt if you're wearing them for a long time. I will wear them around the house with a tshirt though. Definitely can't wear boxers when it's warm either, as I find they make my balls quite sweaty.

Prefer briefs or boxer-briefs for day-to-day work. Never tried a thong but have a few jockstraps occasionally for working out.
