Shaving tips? - My Tiny Dick Forum

I've tried shaving my dick many times over the years, but it's never worked out well. I've consulted many web pages about it and none of the tips seem to help.

Most commonly I'll do it in a warm shower with a disposable razor. I can get the pubes above the shaft just fine. The shaft itself I can get mostly smooth; always some stragglers though. But the balls and taint? I've never been able to do a satisfactory job, and have often cut myself, which is never pleasant.

I've considered waxing, but I'd kind of want to get down to my goal weight first out of vanity's sake- still 15-20 pounds over my goal. But I see all you guys posting with perfect-looking shaves and I don't see how you do it. Please share your wisdom!

(I've also tried with electrics, but those are terrible on the balls. Cut my balls when they're tight and wrinkly, or don't get the hair when they're loose and smooth.)

I shave my legs and genitals in the shower with warm water.
I don't use disposables though.
I use a razor with replaceable heads, the kind that pivot up and down.
I like those best.

Do you hold your balls a special way? How do you keep from nicking yourself? I used to use Mach 3 replaceable cartridges, but switched to disposables just due to cost. (It's ridiculous that you can by 50 complete razors more cheaply than 10 cartridges.) Haven't noticed a difference in effectiveness.

My fiance does it in the shower, too, with the razors that have the replaceable heads. He takes his sweet time, and works on one section at a time and keeps the skin pulled as taut as he can.

I don't know if it makes a difference with guys or not, since he's never done it, but I find with myself atleast that if I've let things go for awhile and my hair's grown out more, I always get a better looking shave if I trim it back first.

I shave below every day as I shower. My skin has become accustomed to it and I seldom get a cut. I pull my sack skin tight and shave both up and down. I use a Gillette multi blade and shaving cream but shampoo or conditioner works. For me, regular shaving works best and I can do the job in around 2 or 3 minutes.

Hmm. I do keep pretty closely trimmed, so I guess I'm ahead of the game there. I think you folks might have a point that the more often you do it the more your skin gets accustomed to it. I think I will try a daily thing where my goal each day isn't to get every last hair; just keep working on it day by day.

Hmm, I've been working on it the past couple of days, and it's looking pretty good! I'm supposed to meet up with one of my lady friends tomorrow for some pictures and playtime. I'm eager to show it off!

I tend to use an ancient single blade razor. One of those where you replace the blade, rather then having to throw the whole thing away. Works quite well all round and the tip about using conditioner is good, I've used that before and it does soften the pubes enough to get a good cut.

Though I'm not constantly shaved, I try to shave at least once a year for a 2 or 3 month period; I usually shave my beard off at the same time. Been doing this for quite a while - and I've noticed it gets more difficult each year to get a really close shave. Anyway, except for an extreme close up, you really can't see the stubble I'm unable to shave in a picture. It's much harder to shave my balls when the sack hangs loose; but when it's taut I'm more likely to get a nick.
