Most Yahoo groups are like graveyards. Not a lot of activity.

I wouldn't say that Virgin, the fg-kometen, a German astronomical group is very busy indeed and always has been since I've become a member there. Nearly daily observational updates and always the latest news from the scene but I guess it depends on the subject matter a lot.

Well that one is a graveyard. 1 member, 6 messages in the last 2 years and they are all spam.

All groups are what the members make of them,like any organization,most Americans don't want to participate or get involved,like a church,always a few do 90% of the work.
