I perosnally think there are 3 reasons
1. The girl loves him. Notice i said love, not like.
2. Money. Rich guy, buys her anything she wants. Material things are very important to many women.
3. Cockhold type of marriage. Husband works and pays the bills. Wife site at home and screws other men. This works for a lot of women too.
