I am not much of a specialist on diets. Tried to avoid them all my life. As I said, completely seasonal with me. Very active in summer = weight down, sitting a lot in front of the computer in winter = weight up. This of course is mainly due to the fact that I don't really change my eating habits during the slow-mo winter month. Same calorific intake.
The only times I ever lost weight over a long period of time was when we lived anywhere near the equator. It's the heat, you just don't feel like eating and what you tend to eat always proved a lot healthier, mostly fruit and veg during the day. Little chance of that happening at the moment, from what I understand, Britain is still moving North an inch or so every year. Guess it'll take longer then I am likely to be around before the UK is back near the equator. LOL
