Try again with the next or your current girlfriend. Problem is, when it comes to sexual education at school there is little or no mention of the prostates part in sexual pleasure, that usually aside from much else useful information the curriculum provides.
I think it is therefore safe to assume that the majority of women have no idea as to why, where and how to locate it in the first place. Also, starting off with teaching her to stimulate the prostate from the outside first might be a good idea until she is comfortable with the idea and maybe a little more relaxed about inserting anything into your anus, something that even for women still comes with this homosexual stigma attached to it.
With us it is me who is not comfortable with anal insertions but that's primarily due to my hemorrhoids, rather then some outdated notion about what might be considered 'that gay thing'.
But at the end of the day it takes either a very experienced women to be approached for this or one that is just plain into pleasing her partner regardless what it takes.
