Didn't your predecessors declare independence a couple of hundred years ago? Must be somewhere near Buenos Aires. I've visited B's A's a couple of times visiting distant family that emigrated from Germany just before the second World War.

Very friendly people I met there.

We went skiing at Bariloche once, great place, loved it.

Yes it is, last year (2010) there were 200 years of the independence of Argentina.
Bariloche is a great place, really wondeful and you have lots to do on there. There are many other places to visit here, you have from sea, to snow, desert, etc etc et...
