Has anyone tried or thought about online dating sites?
Has anyone tried or thought about online dating sites? I'm not totally confiendent in myself to talk to girls that I like. I do talk to girls sometimes through craigslist but all the bots/scams turned me off. So now I'm thinking something like eHarmony would be nice to try. But I feel that's more of looking for the love of your life and not a nice girlfriend for 4-9 months. Am I wrong and how do you guys feel about online dating sites?

I've used them. Actually, the majority of the dates I've been on were with people I met online, including my fiance. I didn't do the eHarmony type stuff, though. I'm cheap. Also, I think it's stupid that you have to pay them before you even get to look at your matches.
Try OkCupid or PlentyOfFish. Those were the better ones I was on, in my opinion atleast, and they're free. And there's plenty of people on there who are looking for booty calls and short term casual dating, not just the long term stuff. |

O wow, thanks!
I just thought eHarmony would be good because I feel that's were woman care about you and not size...would you say those sites are like that? Like the non bitchy type looking for the good guy? |

No matter what site you go to, there will be bitches. But I didn't really see too many on there, atleast when I used those sites. And the few that I did see were all people who were looking for a one night stand, rather than the people who were looking for some sort of relationship, whether it was short or long term. I think you'll be fine. It can't hurt to try it out.

True but I'm scared of ever trying something new ;( So maybe this would be good for that fear.

Hey, either of you know of sites friendly for small guys? I want to give dating a shot too but only if I can disclose my size and save face from those not interested / insulting. The experiences I had in the past were devastating and I won't make it through that if it happens again.

I met my currect girlfriend through Craigslist. We have been together for almost 2 years.
I was basically honest in my posting. Told the truth. Her friend made her respond to my posting as joke, i guess to make fun of me. But we started talking and we clicked. She found out what kind of person i am, and at that point size did not matter. And yes, she knew i was small the first moment we ever spoke. |

I tried a couple in the UK and I got the impression the girls on the other end were hostesses.
