I posted this on another website and got some good replies...wondered what some of the people here might think of it.

Part One: The first question is...
Why is a large penis support group so popular?
(if you don't like essays/ rants, don't read. I don't think it's too opinionated though...)

There may be some neccesity in the existance of one, people with large penises may have trouble with having sex, appearance issues, being discriminated against, or having people be jealous of them, therefore they may need support. This is understandable I guess.

What I do not understand yet is, why isn't there a small penis support group of the same popularity? If you google the words small penis support group, you may find a very small site, with little information, and little or no actual members that can post on the site.
Why not just a penis support group for that matter? You know, to offer support to men and their penises of all shapes and sizes. Most of all men have various insecurities, and many have problems and questions to ask. So why is it then, when you look up "penis support group" and the internet, the largest online support group you see is LPSG?

It seems to me that a person with an average or small penis would be more insecure about it and therefore need more support.
Though, ironically, there are more "small penis humiliation" sites than there are support sites for small penises. That is, if you don't consider the hundreds of sites that claim to support small or average penises, but offer penis enlargement pills and products. The products are either scams or rarely ever work, but if they did, the purpose would be to change a small or average penis to a large penis.
It seems to me, that any man who seeks support or information related to male inadequacy on the internet, will very likely get bombarded with penis enlargement sites, or otherwise any other site that would only make a man not want to have a small penis.
Is it bad to have a small penis? Apparently it must be, because if you need support because you have one, it is most commonly offered in ways to change it so it is not small. And with all the sites that idolize a large penis, anyone can conclude (and almost all do) that having a large penis is far better than having a small one. So if a large penis is a good/better thing to have, what does that make the direct opposite? It is easily implied that having a smaller penis is bad/worse.I think that after a while, all of these implied (though often blatantly stated) "facts" can do serious damage to a persons self esteem. A person's self esteem, or pride shouldn't be degraded or damaged just because of a physical attribute that (for the most part) cannot be changed.
I know people still do, but is it proper or appropriate to make fun of short people? Fat people? Women with small breasts? What about people with disabilities? Maybe you think this is going to far, after all having a very small penis is not a disability, but maybe it feels that way to some people (imagine having a micropenis).

So why are penis enlargement sites so popular, why is porn involving large penises more popular on the internet than porn involving modest or average length penises? Why is small penis humiliation becoming so popular? And why is LPSG so popular?

Part two: the profitability of large penises, and an entwined rant on small penis humiliation

Why are sites involving either the idolization of large penises, or the condemning of small penises, or sites promoting an increase in size, so popular and therefore profitable?
Something I first noticed about lpsg is that to be able to continue viewing pictures or videos in the gallery, you have to pay for a gold membership. Many people are very interested in seeing pictures or videos of a large penis, so naturally putting a fee on being able view them would make a lot of money. Is that any different from a porn site where you see a preview and pay to get membership and see more?
Regarding internet porn, there is simply more money to be made by putting larger penises in the porn.
Even on non-internet porn, the kind that comes to dvd, the average man in porn has larger than the real life average.
Why? Because people want to see it. The more people see it, the more popular it becomes, the more it becomes the norm.

I probably have the biggest problem with small penis humiliation sites. There are some average or large people that want to see penises smaller than theirs be made fun of, so they can feel better about themselves. All I can say about this, is that it is not a very nice way to make yourself feel better or get off.
Then there are even many people with small penises themselves that get off on seeing a small penis get insulted or having their own insulted. I find this sickening. If you have ever dealt with being emotionally hurt in such a way in real life, why would you want to fantasize about it? Does anyone else think that people who want to be abused sexually is strange and probably unhealthy? Yes, abused sexually. As you know, sex isn't all physical, it's emotional, and humiliation seekers want emotional abuse to derive sexual pleasure. This is more sick to me than people who would want to be whipped or beaten before or during sex, I know there pleasure and pain can be related when it comes to the physical aspects of sex. Where does having your inadequacies insulted and degraded, come in? How do you get off on that?
Even the small penis humiliation sites are pay sites or all link to pay sites. I saw one where you can pay to have your small penis insulted.
There is even a lot of money to be made in penis humiliation.
I know people are going to say thing like, "anyone can like what they want in sex", "whatever floats your boat", "it's just a fetish", and things like that.
Good for you. You are open minded. Probably so open minded that your brain is going to fall out of your head.
Please don't get me wrong here. It's not that I think that SPH is wrong and sick, I also think that people who think its okay are wrong and sick.
Is that not fair of me? For me to think that money should be made off of the idea of the degradation of dignity and rights?

Have you ever heared of the universal declaration of human rights? The very first article states, "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood." Directly following, article two states, "Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status...". This is from a declaration created by the UN. Most countries have their own individual document(s) regarding human rights, and I'm sure all agree that all people are equal in dignity and rights, and that no one should be discriminated against just because of a status they are born/grow into.

So why are basic human rights any different when they violated on the internet? Because the stories and acts are fake? Because the “actors” aren't really doing it? Well even if it isn't real, how bad do you think it feels to earn a days pay from being insulted for having a tiny dick and having to do degrading acts? But I'm sure in all porn men and women alike have to do degrading acts, that they probably don't feel all too good about, but I'm not about to war on porn right now.
Any site that intentionally makes someone feel bad about their penis size, violates a persons rights, this is what I believe.



Back to the profitability of a large penis, millions of dollars are made every year from porn involving larger than average penises. It is obviously very profitable, because it is because it is what people want to see. Also, large penises are generally thought of as better than smaller ones. So my last questions are,



Why do people desire to see large penises, so much, that they would pay to see them?
Is it right for so much money to be made from the idea that a large penis is better?
Why do most people think larger penises are superior?
Is it right to idolize people for what they were born with and can't change?
Is it right to think less of people for what they were born with and can't change?



I believe that after time, this general consensus of “beliefs”, found on the internet and other media, can socially condition a person into believe that large penises are superior and small penises are inferior. And, I believe all this can very damaging to a persons emotional health and self esteem.



Thanks for reading. I don't actually expect you to answer any of the questions. This thread is more like a rough “thought inspiring” essay I had been working on. I know it's kind of unrefined, but due to the fact that I'm not going to do anything with it, I don't mind posting it as it is.

From what I've seen in visiting may sites dedicated to penises big and small is that very few women go to these sites. In fact considering how many guys there must be in this country and in the world very few men come to them as well. Most sites seem to have a few regulars and a steady stream of flybys. Most members of these sites seem to be gay or BI males.

LPSG might have a slightly higher female membership but that is too be expected. Women who are into big dicks love them. Women who are into normal or small dicks don't have the same level of enthusiasm it seems.

You don't seem to be able to grasp the whole SPH thing. Nobody likes to be humiliated against their will. The fetish of SPH is a fairly new phenomenon. Probably grew with the internet. It's all about conditions and control. Look at it this way. Let's say you have a woman who is into BDSM and she goes to a club where guys tie her up and inflict physical pain on her. She obviously gets a thrill from it. Do you think if that same woman was walking home from work and some strange guy grabbed her and pulled her into an alley and started beating her she would enjoy that? No of course not because she didn't ask for it and she had no control over what happened. Same goes with guys who are into SPH and it's not only guys with small dicks who are into it. I've come across guys with 7 or 8 inches who are into being humiliated for having a small dick. Weird huh?

Most women that do it only do it because of the money. I don't think they get much enjoyment from it. I think more average (non porn industry) women enjoy making fun of guys with small dicks especially if they know it makes the guy feel like shit.
