hoverfly,
are you a scientist? Very few people that I know are familiar with Schrodinger's cat. Hi five to you |

LOL. No, not really, shadow but I have a long history of math and physics being a huge hobby, so knowing Erwin Schrödinger and his work I guess is a bit of a must. Apart from that, there are so many good books designed for laymen, plenty to choose from.
Pauli, Feynman, Gross, Penzias and hundreds more, oh, mustn't forget Mr E=MC, though contrary to popular belief, his Nobel Prize was NOT for his theory of general relativity but rather his discovery of nucleus motion (ie. plant pollen being jostled by atoms when suspended in water). No, a former translator and interpretor here, I have done work for scientists, though sadly mostly boring legal documents, intl. corporate taxation (and how to avoid it legally) and other legal texts and documents.

Well you seem to know about quantum physics. I started my interest with a book on tachyons and loved reading about physics. I used to translate German science books to English for graduate students.
Ever since they tested me and found out I was a genius I spend my time wishing my ding a ling was as big as my brain. |

Shadow, that is really interesting and I'd be very much interested in keeping in touch but I think we best start a new thread for this topic, a) I do try and avoid hikacking threads and b) we might be able to talk without certain members with a smaller IQ than their penis interfering.
Alternatively, feel free to pm me.

Goodness, let me think of all the things I am suffering from...
Well, there are delusions of grandeur, Alzheimers, attention deficit syndrome, of course I do suffer from penis envy, how can you not, since when are 39 inches even enough to satisfy a mosquito... The list is endless, I tell you, my suffering is beyond compare. And now for something completely different. My sincerest apologies to all of you for hijacking this thread in this manner.
